In light of the untimely demise of Soujanya Sanagapalli ,a third year student of the ECE Department , the members of CTF , hostellers of Tulip and Lavender , and her classmates, came together for a memorial service, which was also attended by the Dean of CEG, the Director of CIA , and other hostel authorities.
The Dean initiated the service, which was followed by her close friends. After all the students present paid their respects , the Dean requested them to observe a minute of silence, praying for her soul to rest in peace and to give strength to her family during these difficult times.
Her friends then gave a brief eulogy and shared their memories of Soujanya, who was a hardworking student, an understanding friend and a wonderful human being.
It was a very emotional vigil as she has left behind a void that cannot be replaced. Soujanya will be dearly missed.
